A LITTLE ABOUT ME

I'm glad you found your way here.

My name is Maggie and I am so glad you found your way here!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and have been doing therapy for 5 years. My story includes huge life transitions, broken friendships, and many who walked alongside me from a young age, only to be followed by others in later years.

I was blessed to have listeners in my life, and people who would sit with me, allowing for safety and raw emotion until I was ready to move into solution. When I first found my way into the therapy room as a client, I was grieving. Seeing a therapist who was kind and patient allowed me to feel safe and, ultimately, grow in ways I had never imagined.

My calling and utmost passion is to be that same safety and healing presence for others. To see someone heal and go from a place of despair to a place of hope is my biggest reward.

HELP CENTER

Questions before you begin?

Here are answers to some common questions about therapy with Maggie.

Who needs therapy?

Everyone can benefit. Whether you are knee-deep in trauma, waist deep in depression, or just want a “tune-up,” therapy is about discovering that inner strength and using it to live most adaptively. It is about clearing what’s in the way so your true self can shine.

Do you only see couples and families?

No. Maggie is qualified and able to see children, teens, adults of all ages, groups, couples, and families. All individuals are welcome.

Where does what I tell you go?

Conversations are confidential, with legal and safety exceptions. Couples therapy also follows a no-secrets policy between the individuals in the couple.

How long does each therapy session take?

Sessions are typically 50 minutes. The initial meeting is 90 minutes to provide time for paperwork and getting to know you. In certain cases, EMDR sessions may be extended to 90 minutes after discussion and mutual agreement.

Do you accept insurance?

Yes. Maggie is currently accepting insurance through Headway. Use the benefits verification link above to check your specific plan and coverage.
